He or she serves as a consultant to faculty in matters of classroom management, teaching methods, and school procedures; joins department chairs and the Associate Head of School in overseeing curriculum development and implementation; creates and maintains Middle School budgets; and collaborates with the Dean of Middle School in establishing guidelines for proper student conduct and dress, monitoring adherence to school rules, maintaining attendance records, and communicating effectively with families regarding disciplinary matters.
