Pat is beginning his 4th season as the boy's and girl's cross country coach this year at MRA. He also coaches distance in track for both the girls and boys in Jr High and High School and is the assistant basketball coach for 7th, 8th , 9th and varsity girls teams. His cross country teams have won 2 North State championships in each the boys and girls divisions and the girls team has been overall state runner up the past 2 seasons.

Pat is married to Jennifer Lovitt and they have 2 daughters, Tavyn and Kayla, that both graduated from MRA and now attend Ole Miss. Tavyn is beginning her senior year and runs on the cross country and track teams for Ole Miss. Kayla is a past Don Souder award winner for MRA and MAIS all-star in basketball and will be majoring in pre-med at college.
