Discipleship

Be Transformed.

At MRA, discipleship is at the heart of everything we do. From PK3 through grade 12, we teach the truths of God’s Word and equip them to live as followers of Christ who love, serve, and encourage others. Discipleship happens in every corner of campus: in Bible classes, service projects, small groups, athletics, and the arts. Being a PK3–12 school gives us unique opportunities for older students and adults to mentor younger ones, building relationships that guide, inspire, and strengthen faith across all ages.

Every day, our goal is the same: to help students grow spiritually, connect meaningfully with others, and step confidently into the world as disciples of Jesus.

Student-Led Spiritual Initiatives

Organizations like FCA, Young Life, and Student Leadership Institute (SLi) empower students to step into leadership roles, plan meaningful events, and connect with peers across all grade levels.

Whether it’s leading a weekly Bible study, organizing a service project, or encouraging younger students through one-on-one mentoring, these student-driven experiences equip young people to live out their faith boldly while shaping the spiritual culture of our school. These programs, along with a variety of Bible study groups for students of all ages, give our students hands-on opportunities to lead, serve, and grow in their faith. Below are just a few of the student-led initiatives shaping discipleship at MRA.

Being a believer at MRA isn’t confined to a classroom.

It’s seen in the way students encourage one another, compete with integrity, serve with joy, and lead with humility.

Through chapel, small groups, service opportunities, and the steady influence of teachers and mentors, faith becomes personal and active.

By the time students graduate, they leave not only grounded in truth, but prepared to stand firm, love well, and shine Christ’s light wherever He leads.

At the end of the day, when our kids leave MRA, they are going to be equipped to be loving people who spread the good word, and that’s what matters most.
